  50. Hear hear! It would be great if Lightwave/Modelor would support the 
  51. display database on the Amiga and let me choose how to run it. I have a 
  52. Spectrum graphics card and run 8 bit and 16 bit screens at 1120/832 on 
  53. a 20 inch monitor. It's a pre-4000 Amiga (and better in most respects
  54. than an A4000: A3000T-35mhz 040). I use EGS 7.x and also have
  55. the option of running Cybergraphics.

  57. Other up-to-date Amiga software I use lets me choose the screen size and 
  58. color depth up to 8 bit. Right now I have to run special EGS versions of software 
  59. to get 16 bit (or 24 bit at lower resolutions).

  61. 8 bit would be enough for more colors in LightWave.

  63. Cybergraphics should make 16 and 24 bit screens possible for most standard 
  64. Amiga software on a variety of graphics cards without too much extra work.

  66. It would sure be nice to have at least 8 bit support in the new LightWave's
  67. Amiga interface.

  69. Consider this another request from the chorus of faithful animators who will not
  70. be selling their Amigas any time soon (even if I do add some other platform
  71. at some point I will still be using this machine).

  76. PS. Does LW 4.0 let you preview solid shaded models from within Modeler?
